Project Coordinator

ABOUT THE EMPLOYER

This opportunity is with an emerging private company dedicated to developing a renewable fuels facility (the "Facility") which will primarily produce sustainable aviation fuel (“SAF”), as well as have the ability and flexibility to produce renewable diesel (RD), renewable naphtha (RN) and renewable propane (RLPG). At nameplate capacity the Facility will produce approximately 1.1 billion litres per year of renewable fuels.
As a primary feedstock, the Facility will utilize vegetable oil to produce these renewable fuels and may, from time to time, utilize various other types of feedstocks including, but not limited to, animal fats and used cooking oils.
The objective is to develop, design and construct a renewable distillate fuels facility to provide a significant source of SAF and related renewable fuels to meet domestic and international mandates related to the reduction of Carbon Dioxide emissions generated from the “hard-to-decarbonize” transportation industries. As a secondary objective, the development of the Facility provides for a secure domestic market for agriculture products.
