What is a Shop Talk Night?

Good question! Have you ever wanted to work in renewables but don't know how? Do you have a basic understanding of renewable technology but want to know more? Do you like discussing renewable energy but no one else entertains your thoughts? Well Shop Talk Nights are for you!

Arranged and run by Iron & Earth chapters, they're an opportunity for members, supporters and the community to come together to learn about the renewable energy industry, meet like minded individuals, network, share ideas and look for ways to improve their community.

Our aim is to help the community become more energy literate and understand the technology that exists to make our energy systems more sustainable. We also want to empower displaced oil and gas workers to look for opportunities in renewable energy and provide them the knowledge and platform to kick start their renewable energy career.

Will you come?
